Two days ago, with deep sorrow, we received the tragic news of the untimely passing of Faculty of Medicine student Bora Keçi, along with her father, a doctor, in a car accident.
It is difficult to find the right words in the face of such a grave loss, where the life of a young student, full of dreams, dedication, and hope for the future, is cut short in such a tragic way, along with the life of her parent, a man and doctor who had served the lives and health of people.
Bora will remain in my memory even through this special academic moment: the exam in the subject of Medical Ethics and Deontology, where she was awarded excellent marks. This photo is more than a memory of the exam; it is a testament to her seriousness, education, dedication and formation as a worthy student of the Faculty of Medicine.
In these moments of great pain, as a doctor and a teacher, I express my most sincere condolences to the Keçi family, Bora's mother, Dr. Kozeta, relatives, the Faculty of Medicine, teachers, and Bora's entire student community. The loss of her and her father is a grave wound for the family, for the medical community, and for all those who knew them.
May their souls rest in peace!"
