The former Senior Director of the State Police, Arben Hajdarmataj, commented on the assassination attempt carried out yesterday evening in Vlora, where a 22-year-old man was the victim.
In an interview for the show "Open" on "News24", he stated that the murder may have been carried out for reasons of revenge, taking into account the incrimination of the victim's father and an assassination attempt committed earlier against his uncle.
According to him, the assassination was well organized and the killing was carried out by paid professionals. Hajdarmataj emphasized that today criminal groups are training young people and teenagers to commit murders of this nature.
" I am of the opinion that if there is a trail of confusion of the target, the latter must be within the family. The incrimination of his father and the earlier assassination of his uncle may be related. His young age excludes to some extent the track of connection with crime, to be so problematic and to be objective for his personal activity. Because of revenge, it may have been targeted. I think the goal of the criminal group is only revenge.
The assassination is well organized and everything is calculated. The victim was followed. I think the target is within the family. As for the amount, it depends on the method of implementation. The car and weapons are not that expensive, but it was the security that the group was looking for. It is definitely a paid killing done by professionals. This is not about former users of such weapons. Today, gangs train teenagers to carry out such crimes. If we are going to take former police officers or other officers, they are a small number out of service ", he said.
