Renis Dobra's father has recounted details about the night the event that took his son's life occurred.
He said that it was his nephew who called him to tell him that Renis had been taken by the police, while just a few minutes earlier he had been exchanged with the perpetrators, who had asked him to leave after being removed as officers.
"My nephew called me at 10:03 PM and said, 'Uncle, where are you? Hurry up, the police have caught Ren.' I immediately went out and headed towards Burrel with my nephew because I thought the police had caught me. We went to the police station. I asked them if they had caught me driving, but they told me that such a thing had not happened."
"I called 129 and they told me they would notify me. My nephew approached before he called me and they told him 'go away quickly because we are the police'," the father of the 23-year-old who was killed told News24.
