Journalist Flogert Muça says that the former commander of the Guard, Ndrea Prendi, spoke in his appearance at SPAK and said that he received orders from the guards of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, to shoot at the crowd, in the January 21 protest.
In an interview for "Ora e Fundit", Muça said that Berisha is expected to be called to SPAK.
"We must bear in mind that January 21 was never investigated as a state crime, it was treated as an unfortunate event. What has made the difference is the decision of the Strasbourg Court. It is Strasbourg and the families of the deceased who managed to have an investigation by SPAK.
The chain of command is being investigated, who gave the order to shoot. Ndrea Prendi spoke, he did not say that I was the one to shoot, but that he was ordered by the doctor's men to shoot at the crowd.
This is the information I have. It is about the doctor's companions, his guards, they are the ones who ordered Ndrea Prendi. We have to wait for the investigations. Such relationships have been built then. Ndrea Prendi has nothing to deliver, he has his word and the truth about that event. The whole chain, don't be surprised when Sali Berisha himself is called on that issue. It is a state crime, the head of the Guard says we committed it on the orders of the Prime Minister's security", he stressed.
