Lisandre Hoxha, one of Gerti Bogdani's friends and political companions, was invited this Wednesday to the show "Opinion" on TV Klan. He said that Bogdani never had health problems as he was a man who did not abuse and led a regular family life.
"There were never any problems. A sporty nature. Walk on foot. No abuse either. He has led a regular family life. He wasn't the outgoing type. He did not consume alcohol. We are talking about social smoking, but not any abuse", said Hoxha.
He also told the last time he met with Bogdan and the hostage that remained.
"We exchanged a few days ago, we left it to meet this week for coffee and to be honest, this part has stuck with me because Gerti, as he finished with a gold medal, was also a friend with a gold medal in terms of social, personal, human trust ", said Hoxha.
"I didn't want to believe it as news, it's very painful that a young man, a parent, a colleague you've known for 17 years suddenly leaves your life," he added.
Gerti Bogdani died this Wednesday at the age of 44 as a result of a cardiac arrest. Homages for him will be held on Thursday (September 19) in the Assembly hall and then he will be laid to rest in Sharra cemetery.
