Analyst Frrok Çupi commented on the vote of the Regulation, Mandates and Immunity Council to remove the immunity of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Çupi states that this decision showed that justice is capable of fulfilling the will of the people by hitting people who were personified as untouchable.
He emphasized that if Berisha is left under house arrest, he will again try to break the court order.
"Berisha took power speculatively and in the minority. He has been in the minority all his life. He has stated that under certain conditions he had several snipers in his hands, which he had placed in the direction of the heads of the opposition. He resembles the leaders of the underworld. Every person, not only Berisha, when they are in such political and moral crises, they tell the truth, just like a drunkard tells. His movement was and is against justice. Now it is a different state and Berisha's imprisonment is practically evidence that the state can impose the will of the people over crime. It is separated today from the past of state crime, but it could not have been realized as it was not realized when the great crimes of Sali Berisha were committed. If Berisha is left under house arrest, which is the easiest measure, we will have a pedestrian ordeal, because Berisha under house arrest will try to break the law again or will provoke the policemen who will protect him, or will try to create drama the policemen to be left in their hands. It will definitely try to create problems. The move to arrest Sali Berisha is in his favor," Çupi said in "ABC News".
For Çupin, the isolation of Sali Berisha is necessary in order to preserve the country's stability.

He also commented on the protest called by Sali Berisha, i.e. the Speaker of the Assembly, in parallel with the time when the meeting of the Council of Mandates started. His ally Ilir Meta was not seen at the protest, and therefore Çupi said that the leader of PL wanted to show that he is in danger for himself from justice.
