Lawyer Arbër Hoxha commented on the appearance at SPAK of former president Bamir Topi, who was questioned as a person who had knowledge of the state crime of January 21.
Hoxha said that this fact shows that the investigations are nearing completion.

" The investigations for January 21 are continuing and we are approaching a conclusion, Basha and Berisha have been questioned, Bamir Topi was questioned today as well and most likely the organizers and journalists will also be questioned. "I say that he has testified without any equivocation everything he knew. I believe that Ilir Meta should also be questioned, I know that he has made a request that he will testify and I believe that we will soon have an announcement of the indictment for the responsible persons ," he said.
Topi was summoned to SPAK as a person in the know, as at that time he held the position of head of state of Albania.
For the January 21 file, the leader of the Democratic Party, at that time Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, as well as Lulzim Basha, in his capacity as Minister of Interior, previously appeared at SPAK.
