"They have banned journalists from Kosovo from participating", Artan Hoxha: Serbia changed stadium because they could not control the crowd

Journalist Artan Hoxha said that Serbian authorities decided to change the stadium for the Serbia-Albania match because, according to him, the police are having difficulty controlling the crowd of fans at the Red Star Belgrade stadium.

Hoxha stressed that Serbian authorities are taking care to prevent any incidents as they do not want to be punished by UEFA. He added that journalists from Kosovo have been banned from coming, for reasons of their safety.

"The Serbian Federation has banned any kind of journalist from Kosovo from watching the match. Not because they will do anything, but for the guarantee of their lives. In UEFA it was announced that it would be the largest stadium in Serbia. But there the Serbs knew that they had a very difficult time controlling the crowd.

"But they thought that incidents would cause problems for themselves and could help Albania come in second place. That's why they took measures by taking it to a small town just so that no incidents would happen ," Hoxha said in an interview with News 24.
