The Operator of the Transmission System reacted after 3 hours to the power outage today in a large part of the country's cities.
OST informs that it has shut down the 220 kV line Tirana2 - Rrazhbull, due to an accident. As a result, the power was cut off in all N/stations of the Region of Durrës, Lushnje, Fier, Vlora, Kuçovo, Berat.
" After about 30 minutes, it became possible to restore power to the N/stations of the above regions, where it is worth noting that only the fidras of special importance, hospitals and gardens of the city were put into operation, leaving with deep limitations the rest of the population.
At 5:52 p.m., power was temporarily cut off in the Saranda Region, which returned to work with restrictions. Currently, at the request of the OST due to the load, a gradual restoration of the load is being carried out in the above regions, which is being carried out by the Central Dispatch TL, in cooperation with the Regional Dispatches of Durres, Berat, Fier, Gjirokastra, Vlora, depending on the instructions and spaces until the restoration of the normal supply scheme ", announces OST.
