In a link to Report Tv, Gjonaj said that the government is committed to preparing a legal framework in order to give more protection or support to judges and prosecutors who belong to the prosecution and special courts.

"Even in the four years that I have been in charge of the Ministry of Justice, in every case when we have received requests or felt the need to intervene in the law or in practical implementation to guarantee more protection to judges, we have done in any case. The government has been engaged in the implementation of these measures. Today we are in a different phase where some threats have a higher sensitivity not only because they are made by structured groups but also because the prosecutors are women. Beyond the fact that the legal framework is not missing, but in order to take additional measures, the government itself has committed itself to prepare a legal framework in order to give more protection or support to judges and prosecutors who belong to the prosecution and special courts". said John.

Gjonaj also spoke about the Justice Reform, where according to her the goal was not only the building of independent institutions but also the increase of integrity in the justice system of judges and prosecutors.

"One thing must be said that at the moment when the justice reform was drafted, one of the goals was not only to build independent justice institutions but also to increase the integrity of judges and prosecutors in the justice system. Since then, the government also supported the legal framework that was approved and implemented afterwards, it was a special protection of all magistrates when they had a concern, or in the case of magistrates of the special prosecution. It was done by direct request.

Today it can be said that there is an answer in the coordinated fight against organized crime. The reform in justice clearly gave the objective it had in the fight against organized crime and corruption.
