"The High Prosecution Council has just appointed the 18th prosecutor, Mr. Ols Dado, as a prosecutor in the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime at SPAK.
The other candidacies will be approved following the completion of the asset and image control process by the Special Commission. "- said in the announcement.
His appointment was made at the request of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani from the High Council of Prosecution.
Dado previously held the position of Director of Foreign Relations and Extraditions at the General Prosecutor's Office.

The High Prosecution Council at the plenary meeting on 06.03.2023, had foreseen in item 17 of the agenda the discussion/approval of the following report: "On the termination of the command of the prosecutor Ols Dado in the General Prosecutor's Office and giving the opinion for his transfer to the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime." In this plenary meeting, based on the legislation in force and the request presented by the prosecutor Ols Dado, Decision No. 60 "On the termination of the duration of the command", for Mr. Ols Dado, was approved before the deadline approved by the KLP Decision No. 8, dated 20.01.2020, and his return to the position of prosecutor in the Procuracy at the Court of First Instance in Tirana. In the same session, after addressing the request of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime, the KLP unanimously decided to give a positive opinion for the temporary transfer of Mr. Ols Dado to this structure.
