For his part, Namik Dokle, Chairman of the Jury for the awarding of the "Sami Frashëri" Award, said that this day is an exciting day not only for writers, researchers and publishers, but also for Belshi and the area of Dumre, where the journey of an event begins so important.
The first edition of the awarding of this award named after the outstanding renaissance man starts in Belgium and will become an annual tradition of this small city but with a big name. Belshi is more beautiful than Belshi's beauty. Today we promote an award with many values in the name of Sami Frashër, this scholar, writer, publicist, encyclopedist, who has one of the most famous works "Albania what it was, what it is and what it will become".

As an ideological leader, a democrat, a mind enlightened by a scholar, he remains one of the most important personalities of the Renaissance. He contributed in every field and his pen shone everywhere. He dreamed of Belshi being the capital of Albania, and Belshi has placed his bust on the pedestrian walkway of this city, expressing his eternal gratitude for the appreciation he had given him. In honor of the work of this outstanding revivalist, the municipal council of the Belsh municipality decided this autumn to create an annual award named after the great revivalist, a very important literary activity that will turn into an event of national proportions in the future.
Ben Blushi, winner of the "Sami Frashëri" award in literature with the book "Conspiracy", greeting the attendees, expressed his thanks to the jury and to the Albanian readers who chose this book the most.
Like all those who come to Belsh, I also think that Belsh is a natural miracle and Sami Frashëri was right when he proposed that Belsh be chosen as the capital and Belsh would have been the ideal capital of Albania. Thank you for the prize for the book "Conspiracy" which has been read by many readers in these times when reading is no longer so popular.
We as writers are obliged to adapt and the new generation to understand how Albania will be in 20, 30, 40 years. We want Belgium and Albania not to depopulate because we have a wonderful country. Once again I want to appreciate the founders of this award "Sami Frashëri" who promotes not only writers, researchers and publishers but also promotes Belsha as a very important tourist destination of Albania".

Publisher Bujar Hudhri said that it was a great honor for him to receive the prestigious "Sami Frashëri" award. Hudhri expressed to the audience that I am happy to receive such a valuable award in a "capital" that was a dream of the renaissance. This is an unexpected award for me and I wish that the best Albanian writers, researchers and publishers of the future will be lucky enough to receive it", he said.
The researcher Mariglen Kasmi, who was also awarded the "Sami Frashëri" award during the awarding ceremony, expressed his surprise at the appreciation given to his work "Albanological Studies" entitled "Wilhelm Zu and Albania".
"I am glad that my work and this study was appreciated and I believe that I and all my colleagues will bring other quality studies to the readers in the future", he said./BW
