For lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, the most important test that Albanian justice must pass is related to two important issues: "January 21" and "Gërdec".
Invited this evening to the 'Frontline' show on Report, he added that many years have passed in the "Gërdeci" case and the evidence is losing its value.
" Albanian justice today has a test related to two cases, 'January 21' and 'Gërdeci'. Other criminal offenses make the difference between these two, passive or active corruption exists in every state, political history does not know any government that does not have corruption at all, it is present everywhere, while the issue of state murders is of high risk. If justice fails in these cases, then the entire success that the Special Prosecution has had will be called into question.
"Gërdeci was started and suspended in 2009 because Mediu had immunity because he was a deputy. I share the same thoughts related to time. A delayed justice causes the facts and evidence to lose their value ," he said.
While focusing on the tragedy of Gërdec, where 26 people lost their lives, Spahiu described it as one of the most serious events to have occurred in the country.
" The media cannot claim that the lawyer has ties to Soros, when the government at that time, led by Berisha, was financed by Soros. Yes, Gerdeci is one of the most bitter events that even Hollywood has dedicated a film to ," said Spahiu.
