Prime Minister Edi Rama has described the Rai 3 documentary as a pseudo-investigation, describing it as an attack on the name and flag of Albanians.
But for Fatos Lubonjë, Rama uses the language of lynching, threatens the freedom of the press just like those he accuses.
" One of the diaspora, who was present at one of these meetings of the Prime Minister, brought me an article from the Italian media, that Edi Rama would give the water of the Blue Eye to Italy, while we have no water in Albania. So this is that patriot.
He used a language of lynching, a language of hatred, violence. One of the rhetorics to incite hatred towards those who speak the truth is precisely this language, which the Prime Minister describes as people without a homeland, without religion and faith ", said Lubonja.
According to him, Rama did not give any argument to prove to us that what is said in the Italian report are lies.
" The threat to the freedom of the press is being made by the one who tried it. I wrote the article in defense of Rama when he was raped ", said Lubonja.
Analyst Fatos Lubonja in a Skype connection to "Open" said that Edi Rama's speech has a very big problem, since he is identified as the leader with whom all Albanians identify.
Lubonja said that the biggest problem raised by Edi Rama was when Albania was insulted in a foreign language, but now he uses the same logic, the same method.
