The Director of the Port of Shengjin, Sandër Marashi, in line with Prime Minister Edi Rama, has sufficient capacity to receive refugees.
Marashi told the media that the quarantine point under the jurisdiction of the Italian state.
He says that he determined the place where the quarantine center will be set up under the jurisdiction of Italy, for the reception of refugees.
"The port of Shengjin has all the capacities to carry out this operation undertaken by the Italian state without affecting the work," said Marashi.
The director of the Port of Shengjin has guaranteed that the refugees will not have any contact with the residents of Shengjin, as they will be transported by buses from the port to the structure that will be erected in Gjadër for their accommodation, until the requests for asylum are examined.
"It will be a quarantine point under the jurisdiction of the Italian state. It means that the refugees will come to the port of Shengjin... they have no contact with the residents of Shengjin and Lezhë. They will come, be quarantined and board buses" , says Sandër Marashi.
