The use of drugs by teenagers and school students is turning into an alarming problem for Albanian society. This alarming phenomenon prompted the coded "Temple" mega-operation that was undertaken in several cities to attack criminal groups dealing with drug distribution near schools and in residential blocks.
"I felt pain as a father and it increases my effort. The sad part of this story is that the cases have increased. This has mobilized us, starting from the complaints, to undertake the fight against this phenomenon" commented the director of the police of Elbasan, Ilir Proda.
The Elbasan police chief guaranteed that the Temple mega-operation will continue.
"The police are committed and the operation will continue. I guarantee that he will have arrested others. There are many evidenced. The temple is an ongoing operation. This operation will continue and I declare it with responsibility", said Proda.
