A fire in a building in Tirana has taken on terrifying proportions. A little while ago, flames consumed the top floor of a building in the former Bus Park. The flames then spread to the floors below due to the polystyrene cladding of the building. But the wind has caused some apartments to burn and the flames to open in the other wing, endangering the adjacent building. Firefighters are fighting the flames but the situation is still serious. Meanwhile, the police have evacuated the residents and set up a security perimeter in the area.
