Egli Proga's sister has reacted to the statement of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ervin Hoxha, who, in a reaction on social networks regarding the police incident in Tirana, also mentioned the murder of Egli Proga in the city of Pogradec.
Minister Hoxha, drawing parallels between these events, stated that such cases are being exaggerated and, according to him, allusions are being made to non-existent gangs.
But this statement was not well received by Egli Proga's sister, who in a reaction on social media wrote that the minister cannot make fun of her brother's murder, while accusing the police of not catching criminals but allowing evidence to disappear.
"You, Ervin Hoxha, who desecrate the memory of my brother and the tragic event of Pogradec, listen to the voice of a sister who mourns every day for his loss and seeks justice. My brother was massacred by a gang of extortionists with connections in the police and justice. Your police failed to catch the criminals red-handed, did not isolate the scene of the crime and let the perpetrators destroy the evidence. How can you protect a structure that allowed the crime to happen live before its eyes?", she writes, among other things, in her reaction.
