Lawyer Gentian Serjani spoke at the second protest after the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cani.
"Ministry of shame!...Ministry of shame!", the lawyer addresses the institution for its lack of reaction regarding the tragedy.
The first in the list of demands is for the political parties not to use the murder of the 14-year-old for political debate, while it demands a transparent investigation into the event after the statement of the father of the injured boy about the involvement of other people in this event.
"I appeal to political parties not to use the event for your political debate! The safety of our children's lives cannot be the next event for their political confrontation.
Secondly, we have seen how the father of the injured boy has stated that the event is different from what the police have stated. I call on the investigative body to conduct a transparent investigation on the event, it is the only way for us to comfort Martin's father and family", said the lawyer in his speech.
According to him, this event should be turned into a national emergency, while the lawyer calls on the Ministry of Education to draw up a plan to prevent such events.
He asked for more psychologists in schools and for guards not to be paid by parents.
"Thirdly, I appeal to the government and the Minister of Education that the event should definitely be an alarm to turn the issue into a national emergency. We cannot wait for another case of loss of life in our children. We definitely need a structure from some institutions and parents to analyze and come up with a plan on how to prevent such events
My appeal is to the Ministry of Education and the government: Guards should not be paid with parents' money. This ministry should appoint security officers to prevent such situations and revise the duty and role of security officers in schools.
I would like to have more psychologists in schools, and this is done by increasing the budget. We cannot spend more money on prisoners than on our children" , said the lawyer.
