At 02:00 this morning, the clocks move forward 1 hour to 03:00, when daylight saving time comes into effect. This change, on the evening between Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 March 2024, coincides with the Easter holiday.
Now we can enjoy an hour more of light, but we lose sixty minutes of sleep, which we can feel in the first days. Computers and devices connected to the Internet are updated automatically, while it is necessary to manually correct the time indicated by analog clocks.
The clock change brings anxiety to some experts, as every year, offer some similar tips to cope with the minor discomforts associated with the change of season.
Do not give too much importance to some minor health problems. A little headache, drowsiness, lack of concentration and a little nervousness should not worry you: these are annoyances destined to disappear in a few days, for which you should not take medicine unless the doctor prescribes them.
The fact that this time the time change coincides with the Easter holiday, which means that Monday is also a holiday, is a good opportunity to recover.
The purpose of this change is to save energy.
The solar time comes back into effect on the last weekend of October, on the night between Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 October we will turn the clocks back one hour again to recover the sleeping time.
