The State Police has published data from an operation ordered by SPAK regarding electoral crimes.
The police announce that a physical search was also conducted in the homes of 5 suspected citizens, where invoices, fuel coupons, voter lists, DVRs, a tactical pistol and 5 mobile phones were seized.
It is learned that the mobile phones of citizens Tak Rroshi, Tauland Hasa, Ogerd Sinella and Mirel Sinella were also seized. All of them are suspected of being engaged in the process of buying votes in support of one of the candidates running on the open list of the PD-AMSH coalition, a relative of Ervis Rroshi, the former socialist mayor of Kavaja.
Ervis Rroshi was involved in the May 11 elections to help his cousin Elton Rroshi, even participating in public meetings. It is not known what evidence SPAK may have obtained in connection with the investigations launched, but according to reports, former mayor Rroshi was under surveillance during the campaign. The investigations by SPAK are being led by Prosecutor Ervin Kondili, while they are expected to extend to other persons.
"The Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes and the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, in the Criminal Police Department of the State Police, in cooperation with the officers of the BKH, in function of criminal proceedings no. 82, of 2025, executed the decision of 17.05.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, for the physical search and that in the apartments of 5 citizens.
During the search conducted on citizen E. Rr., 50 years old, resident of Kavaja, his mobile phone was blocked, and in a premises owned by him, invoices, oil coupons and a voter list were found and seized.
The police seized the mobile phones of citizens OS, 38 years old, T. Rr., 44 years old, both residents of Kavaja, and citizen TH, 35 years old, resident of Qerret, Durrës.
While the police seized a DVR, fuel coupons and a maneuver pistol from citizen MS, 37 years old, resident of Kavaja.
"These citizens are suspected of active corruption in the elections and investigations within the framework of criminal proceedings continue," the Police announced.
