From trips to South America to returning from Venezuela, Fevziu responds to

The long-distance clash between journalist Blendi Fevziu and Prime Minister Edi Rama continues. Rama, this morning, reacted to the journalist's statement that his ministers record footage as if they were in Albania and broadcast it "live" to the media, while they are abroad. In response to Fevziu's accusation, Rama published the latter's list of his travels, during several periods when he broadcasted his weekly show "live" on television.

This reaction of the Prime Minister has not gone unanswered by Fevziu, who just a few minutes ago responded with another status on the social network "Facebook". Fevziu stands by his previous version, calling the actions of the ministers and the way they declare decisions while walking the streets and talking to themselves, while cameramen film them, shameful. However, he admitted that the media, which agree to broadcast such materials, are also partly to blame.

Regarding the list of trips, Fevziu states that he made them public himself and that Rama found them on his Instagram profile. He further emphasized that the comparison that Rama made to him with state ministers was inappropriate, since he is a free man, who is not paid by state taxes and Albanian citizens, and that he can do whatever he wants with his show.

"Unfortunately, Rama was a victim of his government's mentality. While rummaging through my Instagram profile, he had seen my posts from the last few days during a trip to South America. The trip took place in August, when we were on vacation, while I published the additional video posts these days. That is, they were like the videos of his ministers, but with one difference: I have never been a public employee in the last 33 years, nor have I been paid by citizens' taxes, nor am I obliged to answer them. I post when I want, because I do not lie to anyone. Especially since most of them are dated August 2025. I am a free citizen, who builds my life as I want, and, God willing, I have built it well. When Rama is also free, he will understand that this life of mine is more interesting than the one he has chosen, and which, he knows very well, I have rejected more than once. Whether I made a mistake or not, it does not matter. "There is. And I continue to refuse it ," Fevziu wrote.

The journalist also clarified Rama's accusation that he was stopped by Venezuelan authorities upon entering Venezuela, saying that it was simply a joke by the prime minister. Finally, he called on Rama to come on the show and talk about all his concerns.

"Finally, I was blown away by people's comments and curiosity about why they had turned me back from Venezuela. Dear followers, I don't know why Rama chose Venezuela, a matter of subconsciousness, but he was joking. And he said himself that he was joking. Don't take the mockery and jokes as truth because then the problem is not the one who jokes, but the one who believes and makes the joke a topic of conversation," Fevziu writes, among other things, in his response.

Regarding Edi Rama's post...

The Prime Minister of Albania was disturbed by a fragment of yesterday's show on Opinion, where his ministers and directors were seen walking among the flooded surfaces, chatting to themselves. Yes, to themselves, looking each other in the eye, followed by a cameraman from the ministry walking backwards. These images, broadcast live almost everywhere, were for me, not only a moral disgrace, but also a kind of irresponsibility, which today's ministers suffer from the impotence of ideas, the lack of charisma and the crippled personality. But I will not dwell on this point because it deserves a separate article. And the last few weeks have been full of stories that could be told about this...

I was surprised that with 1/3 of Albania under water; with a fire that destroyed millions of dollars of Tirana's small merchants, with the parliamentary crisis caused by SPAK's request to change the security measures against a member of the Cabinet and by accusations of problems in the ANA, the only problem that deserved controversy were the Ministers' TV appearances.

Yes, the appearances on every screen of ministers chatting to themselves, or carrying office discussions to some corner of Albania, wasting time that they should be dedicating to citizens, is truly an ugliness. Most of them do not accept journalists, they edit the news with their teams and we transmit them without any possibility of verification. So yesterday, I put together with their image, that of the President of the US, or the Attorney General, which showed that everywhere, statesmen are accountable to the press, not to the Ministry's cameraman.

Even more ugly is the fact that these chronicles are broadcast several days later, when their protagonists are on other commitments or are not in Albania at all. If you want an example, just remember how Veliaj was at a “Live” municipal event, when BKH took him from his office. And viewers no longer understood the news that came to them with the announcement of the arrest, while he continued to speak on screen. The same thing happened when other Ministers were in Vienna or the Emirates and appeared on screen in the meantime. But to be fair, this does not matter. Two fakes are important:

 1. The first is that accountability to the press by ministers is zero, yes zero.

 2. The second is that the press is more responsible than the Ministers who transmit their chronicles to you. Yes, the responsibility is OURS!

Meanwhile, Rama's post and the messages I received made me understand better why Albanian society has an impasse that many other societies have overcome. Unfortunately, Rama was a victim of his government's mentality. While rummaging through my Instagram profile, he saw my posts from the last few days during a trip to South America. The trip took place in August, when we were on vacation, while I posted the additional video posts these days. That is, they were like the videos of his ministers, but with one difference: I have never had a public employee in the last 33 years, nor have I been paid by citizens' taxes, nor am I obligated to answer them. And. I post when I want because I don't lie to anyone. Especially since most of them are dated August 2025. I am a free citizen, who builds my life as I want, God willing, I have built it well. When Rama is free, he will understand that this life of mine is more interesting than the one he chose, and which, he knows very well, I have rejected more than once. I made a mistake, but it doesn't matter. And I continue to reject it.

Finally, I was blown away by the comments and people's curiosity about why they had turned me back from Venezuela. Dear followers, I don't know why Rama chose Venezuela, a matter of subconsciousness, but he was joking. And he said he was joking. Don't take the mockery and jokes as truth because then the problem is not the one making the joke, but the one who believes and makes the joke a topic of conversation.

The last category of this post are the "conspiracy theorists." Those who told me not to respond because it distracts, or others who said it was a strategy to distract.

Ladies and gentlemen, if a discussion about how ministers should appear on TV attracts more attention than your worries and problems, then the problem is not Rama, but YOU!

Lastly, Rama knows very well what it was like to confront the press with politics. And perhaps he is still the only one who still has the courage to confront journalists or give interviews on the show. So I am waiting for him in the studio with 4 of yesterday's panelists, to talk about everything that concerns him. At least until today, Rama has not had the habit of his subordinates, who seek to appoint the journalists with whom they will appear on TV. If he comes, he is welcome...
