"We are not looking for luxury"/ Residents of Has and Tropoja protest over damaged roads

Residents of the Bytyq Administrative Unit of the Tropoja Municipality, as well as residents of two villages of the Golaj administrative unit in Has, have risen in protest over the deplorable condition of the road connecting these areas.

They have escalated the protest, blocking the Krumë-Qaf Prush-Gjakovë national road for an hour.

With banners in their hands, they demanded the improvement of infrastructure conditions, demanding a passable and safe road on the axis that connects 20 villages. 

Residents say that since 1938, when this road was built, it has not undergone any repairs, despite promises made over the past 30 years. They warn the Municipality that they will not stop protesting until they have a solution.
