National anti-drug operation, Rrumbullaku: 7 criminal groups were hit, 273 arrested!

The General Director of the police, Muhamet Rrumbullaku, has held a press conference regarding the anti-drug operation carried out throughout the country.

Rrumbullaku emphasized that the second phase of the operation is not only related to schools, but focuses on criminality throughout the country.

Also, the Director General of the State Police underlined that members of seven criminal groups were hit in the mega-operation spread throughout the country and that over 270 people were arrested.

" In cooperation with the General Prosecutor's Office, 66 proactive investigations have been initiated. 295 restraining orders and arrest warrants were issued. The second phase of the operation is not only related to schools, but focuses on criminality throughout the country. The focus has been to attack the phenomenon of the distribution of narcotics. In this operation, evidence related to the entirety of the following operation "Rule of Law" was also seized , Rrumbullaku said.
