Security expert Fatjon Softa said that the latest operation by SPAK and international bodies uncovered a powerful drug trafficking network.
He said that this operation has led to the destruction of a large drug group that was moving from Latin America to EU countries. Softa said that this operation involved 22 tons of cocaine.
"This comes as a result of all the data made public where it has been understood which groups are involved. These are groups that have also dictated prices in international markets. There is talk of a large amount of drugs being moved from Latin America to the EU.
"All this came from the dismantling of the SKYECC application, there was a collaboration between INTERPOL and other agencies. From these investigations, a number of arrest warrants have emerged and several people have been declared internationally wanted. There are about 22 tons of cocaine involved in this case ," he told "Ora News".
