After the south, the north of the country continues to be affected by flooding following heavy rainfall.
There was heavy rainfall in the Municipality of Shkodra overnight, but the situation is under control and no serious problems are reported.
Meanwhile, in Vau e Dejes, rainfall continues with high intensity. In Fushë-Arrëz, there is the presence of stones and dirt on some rural roads, as well as power outages.
Also, Lezha has also recorded intense rainfall over the last 24 hours. The Barbullojë Church has been covered in water, forcing authorities to intervene immediately to save the sacred objects.
After two days of intensive work, the breached embankment in Rrile has been closed. Numerous military, municipal and private vehicles joined the emergency intervention to control the flow of water from the Vaini lagoon.
Although the water level has decreased in some of these areas, residents report significant damage to both crops and livestock. The water is still present, and residents say they have not left their homes, as they have nowhere to shelter.
The levels of the Buna, Drin, Kir, Gjadër rivers, the Shtodër reservoir and the flows in the main streams are far from the critical point.
