Analyst Frrok Çupi stated that the Democratic Party is paying for the actions of its leader, Sali Berisha.
In an interview with "ABC News", Çupi said that Berisha wanted power to protect himself and his family.
"The entire advanced world congratulated Edi Rama. They congratulated the leftists, the centrists, the rightists. Today, this was not a competition, it was simply a verification. Are we going to Europe or anti-Europe? Sali Berisha had with him the people who had been in power for 30 years.
"He had 6 million dollars paid, he was superior in payments and in deception. This farce was intended to take power, to protect only himself and his family ," he stressed.
