Journalist Andi Tela analyzed the post-election situation and the opposition's reaction after the humiliating defeat. Tela stated that Berisha's rhetoric is similar to the speeches after the failure in the 2023 local elections, and, according to him, it seems that the DP has been plagued by grief after this deep defeat.
Tela said that, in addition to denunciations, the DP should have a moment of reflection and should apologize profusely to the Democrats, whom it has left in opposition for 12 years.
" When you listen to Berisha's speech, it seems like a speech after the 2023 elections, before the 2025 elections. Even the pre-election period was Sali Berisha's denunciation of the government. The body language, the way of speaking, it seems that mourning has gripped there. They are aware of what has happened and are finding a way out of this moment, but the way out is always the same scheme: denunciation of the party in power and without a reflection, perhaps deeper, and perhaps a kind of apology to the Democrats, because basically there are 500 thousand Democrats who voted.
But don't forget that a large part of them have not recognized the government for 12 years, where it seems as if a class war has taken place, where we have a government with all the institutions, with people and militants of the SP, and another part that is always in the minority and without a way out. The apology should be towards these militants and then, the rest of course should be denounced for the problems that have occurred , "Tela said on the "NOW" show on "Euronews Albania".
