Around 900 hectares of land continue to remain under water in the Shkodra region , specifically in the Shkodra Municipality and the Vau Dejë Municipality.
The situation is improving, compared to yesterday, as there has been a decrease in water levels in the affected areas.
In the Obot area , a decrease in water level has been observed. The road axis connecting the village of Obot with the main road shows a water presence of about 100 cm, from 110 cm the day before, marking a decrease of about 10 cm. The axis continues to be monitored continuously.
In Obot, there are apartments with water in their yards, while up to now there have been no reports of water inside the apartments.
In the municipality of Malësi e Madh , in the village of Vukpalaj, there are still 20 houses with water around their yards, but the water level has dropped compared to previous days. There is no water presence in agricultural lands, but all the meadows from Vija e Vrakës (Administrative Unit Gruemirë) to the village of Gashaj (Administrative Unit Kastrat) remain flooded by the flows of Lake Shkodra.
In the Dajç Administrative Unit, in the Urrelat - Shirq area , a decrease of about 10 cm in the water level has been observed compared to yesterday. There is still water in the drainage canals of agricultural lands, but without penetration into homes.
The Koplik–Bogë, Dedaj–Razëm and Bogë–Theth road axes are passable, but strict compliance with traffic rules, signage and the use of winter tires or chains is required.
No avalanche danger has been identified in the Qafë Thorës area .
According to preliminary data, the total area of agricultural land with the presence of water is estimated at around 945 hectares, distributed as follows:
Dajç Administrative Unit: about 120 ha
Velipoja Administrative Unit: about 195 ha
Ana e Malit Administrative Unit: about 600 ha
Bërdicë Administrative Unit: about 30 ha
