The Governing Council of RTSH has become a blockade for the new director Alfred Peza, rejecting all the proposals for the appointment of some new leaders, as it is claimed that they are being carried out in complete violation of the criteria.
The meeting of the Governing Council took place under harsh tones and strong debates, amid accusations that fictitious competitions were held for the disqualification of experienced journalists and the appointment of people close to Alfred Peza.
Thus, according to the accusations, the human resources director Anila Agalliu has disqualified Klajdi Gorica, a journalist with long television experience, and has chosen Kejsi Lama, who is said to be a friend of Bora Xhanije, as head of the first channel on public television. Bora Xhania herself is the 26-year-old who is accused of being catapulted by Alfred Peza as Head of the Program Unit at RTSH, even without fulfilling any criteria. Xhania previously worked on the "Aplenees" portal, which is Alfred Peza's private portal.
Voxnews.al learns that Peza's proposals have been rejected due to procedure, and the race will now be reopened.
The Governing Council has decided not only to overturn Peza's proposals, but has requested that the verifications for the recruitment procedures be carried out as follows:
Head of Programs – Bora Xhanija
Chief Editor of RTSH Channel 1 - Kejsi Lama
Head of the News unit – Blerta Germany
Director of the Archive – Endra Ceco
Legal Director – Enkelejd Lamaj
Head of the Procurement Sector
Those in charge of Prevention
