The prosecution has seized the documents of the company 'KURUM', to shed light on the case of toxic waste.

It is also learned that people who have connections or knowledge of the cargo will be questioned.

We remind you that on Wednesday, the Prosecutor's Office of Durrës announced that it has launched an investigation regarding the suspicious shipment of toxic waste that was headed for Thailand.

Investigations are being carried out regarding the criminal offense of smuggling prohibited or restricted goods, following referrals from the General Directorate of Customs.

The company "Kurum International" has been identified as the source of hundreds of tons of suspected hazardous waste that were exported from the port of Durrës, causing an alarm. / Panorama
