A group of Muslims in Tirana have decided to protest in support of Palestine. After the conflict that is happening in Gaza, many countries have separated, as the same thing has happened in our country. The government has taken an official stance in support of Israel, but the Muslim communities do not support it and have sided with Israel.
According to information, a protest will be held on Friday. The organizer is the Muslim Forum of Albania. According to the organizers, the rally will call for an end to the war and condemn the "crimes and massacres committed against the civilian population."
The protest will be held at 16:30, in "Skenderbej" square.
The Muslim Forum of Albania is a non-governmental organization that has in many cases been positioned against the Albanian Muslim Community. Even the head of KMSH has recently been attacked for not taking a clear position. The day before, the KMSH came out with a statement and condemned the attacks of both sides.
" The Muslim community of Albania is following with concern the war between Hamas and Israel that has started for days.
Attacks on innocent civilians are unacceptable from whichever side they come from, just as a disproportionate response is unacceptable.
The shedding of innocent people's blood is a barbaric act and outside of every norm and principle that war provides.
The aggressive policies of both sides seriously damage the prospect of peace between the two peoples, the Palestinian and the Israeli.
We hope that the great powers, which have the duty and responsibility to manage international balances, intervene as soon as possible and put an end to this war.
Peace is one of the greatest blessings that God has given to man and asks him to preserve it, saying: "O you who have believed, enter into peace all together..." (Baqarah/208)
Even our Prophet (as) always advises peace as the only acceptable form of life for man.
We pray that peace will be reached as soon as possible and that both peoples will find the necessary peace! ", said KMSH
