Commenting on the recent political arrests, the lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said that there is a reason why since 2013 there have only been arrests on the left and not on the right.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, he said that this happened because Rama, when his people are caught with "leeks in their hands", lets them go, while he added that the opposite happens from the right.
" To date, starting from 2013, we have not had any democrats arrested. Is this a merit, is it a value, is it that only socialists steal, is it a value that we have an independent justice system, people should judge it. Yes, it is clearly visible that the socialists and Rama let people go when they are caught red handed, while the democrats don't let them go. But it is certain that until today the government has not become an obstacle for the arrest of any socialist ", said Spahiu.
