Our country will be affected today by unstable weather conditions, with a predominance of medium to dense cloudiness over most of the territory.
According to meteorological forecasts, rainfall will begin in the early hours of the day and will continue throughout the 24-hour period with mainly low intensity. Short-term local thunderstorms are also expected in some areas.
In mountainous areas, especially in the Alps and in the northeast-east above 700-900 meters, as well as in the southeast above 1000 meters of altitude, locally low to moderate snowfall is expected.
The wind will blow from the northeast to the southeast at an average speed of about 10 m/s, while on the coastline and valley areas it is expected to reach up to 22 m/s.
In the Adriatic and Ionian Seas, waves are expected to be force 3 to 5.
