Snowfall has returned to the country. Snowfall has begun in Boboshticë-Dardhe and Bogë-Theth. The Albanian Road Authority posted on social media images of roads where snow is falling and where cleaning has begun.
According to the ARA, working groups with snow removal vehicles have been clearing the roads of snow and distributing salt to avoid frost, as according to the weather forecast, a significant drop in temperature is expected throughout the country tonight.
The ARA called on drivers to be careful and to equip themselves with winter tires and chains when traveling to mountainous areas with snow.
