American experts who have assisted the Special Prosecutor's Office have returned to this institution after being suspended on January 20 by decision of the administration of US President Donald Trump.
They returned to SPAK on Wednesday and are the same people who were there before the suspension order came into effect.
ABC News columnist Ermal Vija, invited to "Real Story", said that yesterday these experts held a meeting with SPAK prosecutors and communicated that their mission will continue to be the same.
"A meeting was held yesterday with SPAK prosecutors, where the same people communicated that they will be the same people who have performed the same function and will continue to perform it in the future. An officer, who serves as a point of contact officer, has been there, unmoved at SPAK, even during this period where OPDAT experts have not been present ," he said.
According to him, with the arrival of experts, American support for SPAK was also felt.
" Support has been felt from these individuals, and also from the special prosecutors. America's support has been felt in the Special Prosecution Office. OPDAT has provided training and logistical support for SPAK structures ," he said.
