Gentian Malotaj is under investigation for abuse of office.
Along with 11 employees, Artur Shabaku, responsible for legalization, has also been suspended.
They were put under investigation by the Lezha prosecutor's office for the criminal offense of "Abuse of Duty", and in the framework of this investigation, Iva Harka's prosecutor's office requested their suspension from duty, a request that was approved by the Lezha Court.
According to the prosecution, two cadastre officials have legalized a building in the area of Kunes in Shengjin in violation of the law.
The suspension decision has been appealed to the Tirana Court of Appeal, while a few days ago 11 employees were also suspended on the charge of non-implementation of a court decision for not returning to the state an alienated piece of land in the area of Rana e Hedhur in Shengjin.
Albana Gjinaj, Marinela Tuci, Orstela Bardhaj, Sebastjano Gjetja, Besjon Ivanaj, Ornela Marku, Eglantin Lleshaj, Dorina Sulaj, Xhentil Gjegji, Vitore Lleshi, Diljana Prenga, have been put under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of Lezha.
Cadastre employees helped in the alienation of 234 thousand 548 square meters of state land in Ranista, for which the former mayor of Lezha Fran Frrokaj and other former officials were sentenced to prison.
In relation to this case, according to the prosecution, the court has also decided the destruction of practices for the property, but the cadastre has not implemented the decision of the Court of Lezha.
