Albania as an 'isolated island', Trump proposes candidates for

Since taking office, Donald Trump has proposed around 40 candidates for US ambassador to various countries.

Albania seems far from the eyes and attention of the United States of America and the administration of President Donald Trump. This is also evident from the absence of an American ambassador in our country for almost two years.

Since taking office, Donald Trump has proposed about 40 candidates for US ambassador to various countries. On February 11, 2025, Trump proposed 8 names for ambassadors to countries such as; Canada, France, Israel, Japan, Mexico, Panama and the United Kingdom, but not for Albania.

Then, in another series of proposals a month later, on March 11, 2025, Trump proposed 5 more names for ambassador to countries such as Chile, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Malta, and Portugal. Meanwhile, this time too, it seems that Trump did not have a name to propose for our country.

Two weeks later, on March 24, 2025, Trump would propose another list of about 30 names for ambassadors to countries such as Argentina, Austria, Belgium, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Morocco, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, etc., again leaving Albania out of the spotlight.

Considering the fact that Trump proposed a week ago former US prosecutor Mark Brnovich as a candidate for US ambassador to Belgrade, it shows that the attention in the Balkans is, but not for Albania. At a time when Trump is waging a global economic war, he will hardly have time to propose a name for ambassador to our country. Until things calm down, our politicians can "throw" a dance and attack SPAK!

It is worth noting that the names proposed by Trump do not automatically become ambassadors, they will then go to the Senate for approval and from there they can take up the diplomatic post./ Pamphlet
