SPAK invests billions of lek in new operational equipment...
The Special Prosecution Office seems to be armoring itself from all sides. While this will be Altin Dumani's last year as chairman, it seems that everything is being done to ensure that SPAK has completed the process of equipping and reconstructing its building and the BKH.
SPAK has published on its official website the data on the forecasts for public procurement during this year and, in addition to the expenses for daily work, it is striking that a quarter of the budget will go for special equipment for interception or monitoring. According to the register, during this year SPAK expects to spend a total of approximately 3 million euros on investments. But of these, 1,104,994 euros are expected to go for special equipment.
The highest-cost tender is “ Purchase of equipment and systems of operational technique ”, which will be a secret tender. The plan was to hold it in April, but since it is secret, it is not known whether it has been finalized or whether the procedures are ongoing. Its cost is 101,072,851 new lek. So, almost 1 billion lek.

Meanwhile, in June, the tender is scheduled: " Purchase of operational equipment " worth 7,500,000 new lek. In total, both go over 1 billion old lek or about 1.1 million euros.
It should be noted that SPAK has carried out its strongest attacks through proactive methods. SPAK is using wiretapping and monitoring as a way to crack down on corruption and organized crime. Meanwhile, the method that is alarming politics is the seizure of phones. SPAK has seized hundreds of phones every year and, thanks to the messages or conversations found there, has then gone to the evidence. But the fact that new wiretapping, monitoring equipment, etc. will be purchased, shows that SPAK is preparing for other sensational attacks. / Pamphlet
