The former Prosecutor of Serious Crimes, Eugen Beçi, has commented on the suspension of the "Xibraka" case by SPAK.
Invited to the studio of the show "Open", Beçi explained that this suspension decision is an intermediate and not final step, emphasizing that the prosecution has identified a criminal fact, but there was a lack of accurate identification of the criminal fact.
He added that for this reason, the decision was made to suspend the case and transfer the materials to the police, to collect more evidence that could lead to the full identification of the criminal offense. According to Beç, this is a common principle in investigative procedures by the prosecution.
" This is a suspension decision and means an intermediate, non-final decision that means that the prosecution has a criminal fact, there is a lack of accurate identification of the criminal fact and therefore decides to suspend the case and transfer the material to the police for the collection of material to arrive at identifying evidence of the criminal offense.
