The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, was today at the European Integration Council, where he listed the achievements of the leading body in the fight against corruption. Dumani gave figures and statistics, as he declared that he has introduced a new standard in SPAK. Although the law obliges, Dumani said that all prosecutors, in parallel with the criminal investigation against the officials involved in corruption affairs, also initiate the property investigation.
" During these 9 months, the Special Prosecutor's Office has been attentive to the fact that for the officials who are being prosecuted for criminal offenses of corruption, in addition to the accusation and sending the case to court, attention has been paid to the identification and seizure of the value belonging to the criminal offense with the final goal the confiscation of assets caused by criminal acts of corruption ", he said.
But what stands out is that, in fact, SPAK is investigating many high-ranking officials, but no financial measures have been taken for any of them. Here we are talking, for example, about Sali Berisha, Ilir Meta, Fatmir Mediu or other functionaries, including former ministers of the SP, such as the case of Olta Xhaçka or Ilir Beqaj.
Sali Berisha is accused of two major acts of corruption, the privatization of OSSH by CEZ and the privatization of the properties of the Partizani sports club. In both cases we are dealing with massive corruption. SPAK is investigating these files, but there is no property investigation for Berisha and the other accused, such as his son-in-law. Berisha's son-in-law has built towers there and has a very high fortune, but SPAK is not following the same standard as him. SPAK is proud of Arben Ahmetaj and Saimir Tahir, but in fact the "mammoths of corruption" enjoy the billions.
Another name is Ilir Meta. The latter is accused of many acts in the field of corruption. He is being investigated for CEZ-DIA, lobbying in the USA, aesthetic intervention, money laundering, corruption, etc. SPAK is not following the same path it followed for Ahmatej. He started to investigate the latter for the incinerators and ended up with the property. While Meta has the wealth of the square and SPAK does not have to bother, it is enough to ask how Meta has built a palace, a villa in Lalëz, a villa in Bllok, a villa in Kodra e Diellit, how he has paid for his children's school in London, etc.
Another name that is being investigated for abuse of office is Olta Xhaçka, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense. It is suspected that it has granted the base of Saranda with a concession in violation of the law. Also, her husband is being investigated for wrongfully obtaining the status of a strategic investor. For him, SPAK is not acting as it did with Ahmetja.
We also have Ilir Beqaj. The latter is under investigation for affairs with health concessions. SPAK not only did not send him to court, but there is no property investigation, thus overthrowing Duman.
The head of SPAK should not be proud of an apartment that he confiscated from Bashkim Dedja, but should go to the "mammoths", since they have half the wealth of Albanians. / Pamphlet
