Meteorologist Hakil Osmani from MeteoAlb has shown that the heat wave that has invaded our country has caused temperatures to reach their maximum of 42 degrees, something unusual for the month of June.
Osmani made the comments in the "Review" show on Euronews Albania, where he said that starting today, but also in the following days, a slight drop in temperatures is expected, causing the maximum during the next week to reach 35- 36 degrees.
" We were prepared for this heat wave. We knew that the temperatures would reach 42 degrees. This wave had gripped the south of Europe for a long time. We have been hit by extreme heat waves during the summer, but not since June.
Since noon today, we have had a slight drop in temperatures, making the maximum be 40 degrees.
Also on Sunday we will have another drop, making the maximum go to 38 degrees. Even the beginning of the week brings a drop in temperatures, with maximums around 35-36 degrees. The last days of June again bring an increase in temperatures, to 37 degrees ," Osmani said.
