The sunny weather and high temperatures seem to be coming to an end. According to meteorologist Lajda Porja, the rain will start during this evening in some northern areas, where then during the next day it will cover the entire Albanian territory.
"As we have seen, although the day started with sunshine, in fact I predict that today the clouds will be present until late in the afternoon. We will have an increase in cloudiness, which will bring rain in the late evening hours. Around 21:30, 22:00 it will start in the northern areas and then it will cover the whole territory. Rainfall is expected to be present on Tuesday. Tomorrow the rains will be present in the entire Albanian territory. They will be partly in the morning of Wednesday. As for Thursday and Friday, the coastline remains clear with frequent clouds, while the mountainous areas and many low areas remain rainy. So to speak, we have a somewhat unstable week from Tuesday to Friday where clouds and showers will be present."
Tuesday will have a higher presence of precipitation as well as Wednesday. During the day Thursday and Friday, the intensity of the rain will be lower, where then sunny weather is predicted during the weekend.
"The most visible rains will be mainly on Tuesday and Wednesday, with a little on Thursday and Friday, and then we will again have a sunny weekend and a change in the thermal situation. Today we remain at relatively high values. Today I predict that the thermometer will be 34 or 35 in some areas of the western lowlands. Around the value of 32, 33 degrees will be the coast, while the mountainous areas will be 31 degrees. It is predicted that from Tuesday until Friday we will have a drop from day to day in thermal values, making the weather cool, especially tomorrow, given that we will have a significant drop of 5 or 6 degrees, this is because there will be clouds and rain even in the midday hours. This will mean that by Friday we will be around 28 or 29 degrees Celsius, so we approach almost typical August temperatures while the weekend will bring a change in weather. On Tuesday, the coastline is also at risk from rains, and partly on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the coastline for those who are resting is not at risk from rains, but the weather remains cloudy and relatively cool, and the weekend is sunny."
