The ship with immigrants returned from Albania has arrived in Bari, after the decision taken by the Court of Rome, that the immigrants belonged to unsafe countries of origin.
The news is reported by La Repubblica, while it is emphasized that this is happening between the "clashes" of the Prime Minister of Italy Georgia Meloni and the court regarding the decision.
The 12 immigrants had been accommodated for 3 days in the Gjadri camp, while an Italian coast guard ship arrived this morning at the port of Shengjin to transport them.
Migrants will then be accommodated in a reception center, where they will have a 14-day deadline to appeal the decision rejecting their asylum.
Earlier in the day, it was learned that despite the departure of the immigrants, the Gjadri camp will continue to be functional and only immigrants who are considered to arrive from safe countries will be accommodated there, according to the Italian Government.
