The daughters of the 52-year-old Italian, Agata Carbonara, who was wounded by a blind bullet on January 1 on the "Zogu i Parë" boulevard in Tirana, is asking for help to transfer to Italy for a more specialized treatment.
In a post on social networks, the 52-year-old's daughters say that the Albanian police did not help their mother and that they are facing bureaucracy to transfer her to Italy. Among other things, they say that the 52-year-old woman still has the bullet in her chest.
"What we are experiencing is unimaginable. Today we risk losing our mother because of an irresponsible gesture by a madman, who shot in the air, hitting her in the lungs.
These days, in addition to fighting for her life, we are forced to face a bureaucracy that prevents the transfer to Italy. We wonder with what courage the two police patrols, seeing our dismissive mother. And how is it possible that she is still waiting, with a bullet in her chest", they write.
