The intense snowfall has caused various problems in the north of the country. In some districts there were problems with traffic, while in Dibra district it is reported that 300 people were stuck for hours on the axis of Qafë Murrizi.
While in Kukës, there are reports of problems with electricity due to snowfall and strong wind, but so far there have been no reports of blocked roads.
As a result of the strong wind, there were temporary blockages in some segments, but the contractors intervened in time and they became functional.
Situation in the country due to snow
The reservoir in the neighborhood of Pla Nj. Ad Krumë, as a result of the large flows, has had problems, but the situation has normalized.
There are problems with electricity in Nj. Ad Shishtavec, Topojan, Zapod, Bicaj, Ujmisht, Bushtricë, Grykë-Çaë, Kalis and Arren, Kukës municipality, Nj. Golaj and Fajza, municipality of Has and Nj. Old Tropoja and some villages Nj. .Ad Bytyq municipality of Tropoja.
The situation in Kukës District until 18:40 on 25.11.2023 is as follows:
The entire territory of Kuka District continues to be covered by snowfall and strong wind.
From the information obtained from the field, it follows that:
• National roads are trafficable with chains. The contracting entities are working around the clock to clean, salt and keep the roads that have a contract functional.
As a result of the strong wind, there were temporary blockages in some segments, but the contractors intervened in time and they became functional.

Kukes municipality
Rural roads are passable, except for the roads of Nj. Ad Arrën, Zapod, Grykë-Çaë and Kalis.
Municipality of Has
The roads are passable.
The reservoir in the neighborhood of Pla Nj. Ad Krumë, as a result of the large flows, has had problems, but as a result of the intervention by the municipality, it has normalized.
We have no reports from Tropoja municipality about any problems.
Electricity supply is normal throughout the territory of the Kukës District, except for Nj. Ad Shishtavec, Topojan, Zapod, Bicaj, Ujmisht, Bushtricë, Grykë-Çaë, Kalis and Arren, Kukës municipality, Nj. Ad Golaj and Fajza, Has municipality and Nj. Old Ad Tropoja and some villages Nj. Ad Bytyq, Tropoja municipality.
Drinking water supply is normal.
