New details have come to light regarding the serious incident of the murder of 42-year-old Eglantin Proga in Pogradec, reports journalist Igli Çelmeta.
After the easing of the charge against the author Denis Meçe, from "intentional murder" to manslaughter" by the Court, which left him in prison after the prosecution's request, News24 learns new details about the serious incident and investigative actions.
It is known that when the incident happened and the 42-year-old Eglantin Proga was lying on the ground in a serious condition, when the police arrived at the scene, the crime scene tape was first placed, but it was left very little and was removed. This is also confirmed by the footage of the cameras on the road.
After transporting the 42-year-old to the hospital and when the information was given that Eglantin Proga passed away, the police restored the crime scene tapes at the scene. The crime took place in a bar and the cameras were seized after the incident was reconstructed.
The DVR of the security camera seized by the police did not record anything about the crime. The DVR has been sent by the police for examination based on the suspicion that there may have been interference.
The perpetrator was not discovered from the footage as there was none, but it was discovered after the interview that was done to the escorted persons who were in the bar at the time the crime took place, where one of them broke down and told the truth.
