Journalist Eni Ferhati has revealed more details about the serious incident that took place in Fier, where 23-year-old Azgan Mërnica killed with a gun the officer of the 'Shqiponja' forces, Novruz Cenaliaj.
In the show "Now with Erla Mëhillin" Ferhati said that the main track of the murder in Fier is that of a banal fight between the perpetrator and the victim.
Ferhati said that from the footage of the security cameras, it is clear that after a few words were exchanged, the 23-year-old man got out of the car with a firearm in his hand and immediately attacked.
He also said that the moment the 23-year-old got out of the car, the police officer put his hand in the belt where he was holding the firearm, after seeing that the young man had a weapon in his hand.
" The mechanism of the serious event is very clear. The police officer was detained near his vehicle on foot, trying to enter the vehicle, talking to two people who are on some stairs in the village of Baltëz. Meanwhile, parallel to the deceased, 23-year-old Azgan Mërnica, who is in the company of his mother, comes with his vehicle.
There is only a moment of pause, a few seconds, where the police officer turned his gaze right at his killer, they exchanged only a few words and immediately the 23-year-old got out of the vehicle, headed towards the "Eagles" officer who was in uniform, although off duty and within a few minutes he would also take the shift.
At the moment he is driving, according to the footage of the security cameras, the officer put his hand on his belt, on the gun, because he apparently saw, since it is clear that when the 23-year-old got out of the vehicle, he had a firearm in his hand.
From the investigations to these moments, from the filtering of several tracks, we are heading towards a track for trivial momentary motives. The latest suspicions are that there were some insults before the firearm was fired. In terms of how the 23-year-old acted very quickly, not finding the author is in his favor for not arresting him and bringing him to legal responsibility. The first suspicions were that he could be hiding with some of his relatives ," said Ferhati.
