Security expert, Fatjon Softa, has stated that the suspected perpetrator of the murder of the "Eagles" operative in Fier, Novruz Cenaliajt, may have gone in the direction of Vlora or Tepelena, although according to him nothing has been proven.
Softa made his comments in "Euronews Albania", where he said that the suspected perpetrator Azgan Mërnica may have hidden in an area close to his house, perhaps in another apartment.
Softa also said that it is reported that a phone was also found, but that it is not yet known whether it belongs to the perpetrator or the victim.
He said that if it is the author's, after the calls are discovered, it will be seen if the author has asked for help from people he knows to escape.
" We don't have rapid intervention forces deployed in the districts. And these delays certainly affect. We have set up checkpoints, which are set up by the Police services, every time we have had events, but in no case have they been effective. How many times have we had assassinations, we have proven that they did not work. Although we had not identified the perpetrator, we still only found the vehicle that was burned and the people left.
This is not the case, as we have identification of the person and the direction he may have gone. First we need to verify that they say a phone was found, but it is not known if it is the victim's or the perpetrator's. We must also look at the phone calls, because surely the person must have asked for help and may have been helped by people he knows.
