The election campaign for the partial elections for the Mayor of Himarë is scheduled to begin on July 26, 2024.
Registration of political parties will take place until July 15, while coalitions have until July 19 to register, and candidates until July 22.
Referring to Article 77 of the Electoral Code, the election campaign begins 30 days before the election date and ends 24 hours before the election date.
Given that the 30-day deadline from the decree of the elections is very narrow, the duration of the election campaign of 9 days is conditioned by the deadline for the creation of CEAZs, the registration of electoral subjects, initiative committees, coalitions and candidates.
